Our vineyards are located in "Feuermännchen", "Schlossberg" and "Sonnenberg". ("fireman", "castle hill", "sun hill")

Neuleiningen's hillside location, with its hot and dry climate, provide the best conditions for growing our grapes.


Centuries ago,
Early generations of wine makers realized how important proper climate is to making great wines, and planted their first grapevines in village of Neuleiningen.

Making wine has a long history in Neuleiningen.

The dry climate and limestone-rich soil of Neuleiningen gives our wines their full-bodied and well balanced character. While this is good for the grapes, it makes growing and  harvesting difficult.

The reward for all this hard work is watching our customers enjoy a time honored glass of Rüttger-Wine.
