Das Alte Haus - The Old House

When our great-great-grandfather acquired "the old house", it had already deserved that description.

Built in the 16th century, it is now one of the oldest still-standing houses in Neuleiningen.

Back then, it used to be a farmstead. Today, it accommodates the so-called "Weinlädchen" and "Rüttgers Keller".
Both rooms provide our guests with a classy environment for wine-tastings. (See more pictures in the gallery)

The "Weinlädchen"

.. is open from 12pm - 5pm
on Sundays and holidays. (Except for
christmas - spring)

Here we offer our wines for tasting and sale.

"Rüttgers Keller" 

(Closed until spring 2010!) This old wine-cellar is open March - December, Thursday - Sunday between 5-8pm.

The middle-age walls bestow upon the cellar a one-of-a-kind atmosphere.

This is interesting for bigger groups: contact us to book a wine-tasting in advance.



It's also a good idea to combine it with having lunch or dinner in one of the excellent restaurants in town.
